On March 21, 2025, the Government of Canada has announced changes to the Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program, doubling the program from $5 billion to $10 billion and opening it to sectors outside of energy and natural resources to support more Indigenous-led infrastructure, transportation, and trade projects across the country. For now, CILGC continues to accept applications for natural resources and energy projects.
