As the Founder and CEO of Climate and Sustainable Innovation (CSI), a boutique advisory firm specializing in carbon finance, carbon markets, and sustainable business transformation, Corinne Boone is a global leader in carbon markets and sustainable business strategy, with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations align financial performance with climate and ESG outcomes. 

She is widely recognized as a pioneer in carbon finance, having played a formative role in the development and execution of carbon markets and transactions globally. Her expertise includes ESG strategy and governance, sustainability integration, carbon market design and execution, and climate risk and opportunity assessment across the mining, energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors.

Corinne has built and led global, multidisciplinary teams and delivered complex, high-impact projects. She is known for her ability to translate sustainability and climate complexity into practical, commercially grounded strategies, while mentoring leaders and strengthening organizational capability. 

An Accredited Director with the Global Competent Boards ESG Designation, Corinne is also a mentor with Women Get on Boards (WGOB) and a lecturer in the ICD Director Designation Program, with more than 20 years of board experience across energy, natural resources, and financial services. 

Corinne holds a Master of Environmental Studies from York University and an Honours BA from St. Thomas University.
